Kevin Kylar, Manitoba’s top ranked player, captured the men’s Open title at the Reflections Dental Singles Championships. Kylar dropped just two total games at the tournament, beating Evan Mancer 6-0, 6-0 in the final. In the semifinals, Kylar beat Sean Lacap 6-1, 6-0 and Mancer edged Cole Lacap 6-3, 2-6, 10-4.

Wataru Takahashi won the men’s 5.0 with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Alex Chai. In the men’s 4.5, Michael Kandrack beat Ari Floom 6-4, 6-4 for his second straight Tennis Manitoba 4.5 title after winning the Tennis U Manitoba Finals in September. Cory Richter beat Heath Vermette 6-2, 6-0 in the men’s 3.0 final, while Paul Hearsum won the men’s 2.5 round robin.

On the women’s side, Monika Popovic beat Ekaterina Zhupanova 6-2, 6-4 to win the 4.5 title. Lillian Wong will play Olena Vus in the 3.5 final.
