Tennis Manitoba Senior Provincial Team 2023
Tennis Manitoba is creating a Senior Provincial Team program that will begin in summer 2023. The objective is to bring high performance, competitive players together on a regular basis to train under the guidance of a certified, provincial team coach. The 6-week, 8 session program is designed to provide quality training sessions to prepare athletes for the 2023 Steve Stevens nationals in Montreal, Quebec and ultimately, an ITF Senior tournament in August 2024 in Manitoba.
Criteria / Eligibility
● Players must be in good standing with Tennis MB
● Open call for female & male players 35+
● Must play in the 2023 Manitoba Senior Championships in July 2023
● Intention to compete at the 2023 Steve Stevens Outdoor Nationals in August

● Open to all players 35+
● Females and Males

Senior Nationals
Provincial team players are expected to compete in the Steve Stevens outdoor senior nationals
August 20 – 26, 2023 in Montreal, Quebec
Senior ITF 2024
Tennis MB is in a position to secure a Senior ITF Tournament in 2024. Tennis Canada has stated that we will be able to host a Senior ITF if we can deliver a local senior tournament in 2023.
