Windsor Park Collegiate celebrated the opening of their new tennis facility on Saturday, October 17/15. Matt Allard, councillor for St Boniface was joined by former councillor Dan Vandal to officially open the four courts. Fun and games were had by all including some tennis tips offered up by local tennis pro Emerson Gusmini of Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club.
The public access facility is free for players to use and joins a list of over 30 courts that have been either upgraded or newly built in the past 18 months in the Winnipeg area.
