Winnipeg Treated to Great Tennis
The 2015 National Bank Challenger presented by Manshield Construction came to a close on Sunday with two outstanding final matches. On the women’s side, American Christy Ahn defeated Sharon Fichman of Canada while Gonzalo Escobar of Ecuador bested Fritz Wolmarrans of South Africa in the men’s final.
Both finals were a reflection of a week of fantastic tennis played at Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club.
