Congratulations to Mariya Gedz who was recently selected for the Bison Transport Women to Watch grant!
Through Sport Manitoba, the program supports the development of young female athletes in our province. The grant helps offset training and competition costs for athletes who demonstrate exceptional dedication and potential.
Mariya started playing tennis at just four years old and has proudly represented Manitoba at the 2025 Canada Summer Games and at nationals every year since 2021.
“This award encourages me to keep working hard and continue growing as an athlete. Thank you again for supporting me!” said Mariya.
