Tennis Manitoba’s Tony Weekes and his partner Doug Eady reached the final of the 55+ men’s doubles tournament at the 2019 Wilson/Mayfair Senior ITF in Toronto, Ontario on January 6th.
Weekes (wearing yellow) and Eady played a hard fought final against fellow Canadians, John Kwan and Andrew Fan. Kwan and Fan came out in the tiebreaker set, 10-8 to win the title. It’s Weekes’ first finals appearance at an ITF tournament.
