A new U10 Provincial Team has been started up by Tennis Manitoba! The program is free for players nominated from member clubs who are good prospects for future development. Players will take part in the program Saturdays approximately twice per month through the winter at Taylor Tennis Club. The coaches are Tennis Manitoba’s Director of Tennis Development/Head Coach Jared Connell and Tennis Manitoba’s Rogers Rookie Tour Manager Robert Kennedy.
A total of 13 kids took part in the first session for the U10 Provincial Team on October 15, with junior players Reece Carter and Sahand Marzban assisting the group.
