Aurora Ling, Jacob Yee, coach Jared Connell, Saskatchewan’s Arya Guha and Hilb Bohach represented Team Prairies at U18 nationals in Toronto.
Manitoba’s top young talent have been busy representing Team Prairies at the 2024 Fischer Indoor Junior Nationals.
We had four players —Varvara Lutsyk, Mackenna Baker, Viggo Mikulsen and Amir Hashmi – with coaches Jared Connell and Seif Dhaoui represent us at U12 nationals inside the Osten & Victor Alberta Tennis Centre (March 23-30).
The U14 tournament was held at the UBC Tennis Centre in Vancouver (April 1-8) and featured three Manitobans — Natalina Zappia, Mariya Gedz, and Max Peters — who all won a pair of matches
Natalina Zappia, Samantha Gnilo, Evan Deeley, and Caleb Gnilo with coach George Kylar travelled to Verdun, Que., for the U16 competition (March 22-29).
The U18 nationals were at Sobeys Stadium in Toronto (March 30-April 6) with Aurora Ling, Jacob Yee, and Hilb Bohach. The trio combined to win a pair of matches with the help of head coach Jared Connell.
