The Bellarmine men’s tennis team competed in the USTA/ITA Midwest regional held in Granville, Mich., highlighted by freshman Alan Gardiner winning the singles “B” flight.

Gardiner captured the title by outlasting teammate and doubles partner Alex Chanley in a tough semi-final match which went to the third set super tie break.

“It’s great to see Allan find his game, said Bellarmine Coach John Mican. “ He has worked harder than anyone this fall, and winning this title should give him the confidence to take his game to the next level.”
