Western Canada Games tryout information
The Western Canada Games are fast approaching!
Tennis Manitoba is looking to select a Training Team of up to 12 players (a combination of boys and girls) to represent Team Manitoba in Swift Current, SK in August 2019. The final team will be selected from this training team.
The final team will be made up of:
-2 boys and 2 girls born in 2005 or earlier (under 14 as of 12/31/18)
-3 boys and 3 girls born in 2003 or earlier (U16 as of 12/31/18) competing in boys/girls #1 and #2 singles and boys/girls doubles and mixed doubles.
The 10 players (5 boys and 5 girls) represents the FULL TEAM. Tennis Manitoba may choose to field a less than full team should there not be enough players who meet the eligibility and/ or team criteria.
Tryout Date: Tennis Manitoba will hold an open tryout on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at Taylor Tennis from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a parents information meeting BEFORE at 6:30 p.m.
Tryout Fee: $20 per player
Tryout Registration Deadline: All interested players must register by email to jared@tennismanitoba.com by 6:00 p.m., May 30, 2019.
