WLTC Junior Open + Rising Stars 2026

The WLTC Junior Open + Rising Stars returns for another exciting weekend of junior tennis competition, bringing together players from across Manitoba to compete, develop their skills, and enjoy a fun and challenging tournament environment.

This Tennis Manitoba-sanctioned event features both Junior Open competition and Rising Stars events, providing opportunities for players at every stage of their tennis journey.

Tournament Information

Ranking Point Value: 3.5 Star

Match Times:
Matches may be scheduled between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Players must be available to compete at all scheduled times throughout the tournament.

Entry Limits:

  • Players may register for a maximum of two singles events and one doubles event.
  • Draws may be capped based on court availability and overall tournament entry numbers.

Rising Stars Events

The Rising Stars program provides an excellent introduction to tournament tennis for developing players.

Important:

  • Rising Stars players may only enter one Rising Stars event (Orange Ball or Green Ball).
  • Rising Stars players may not enter doubles.
  • Players competing in the U10 Green Ball event may also register for U12 Singles.

Doubles Events

U12 and U16 doubles teams may consist of any combination of boys and girls, providing additional opportunities for players to compete and develop their doubles skills.
