The Girls. Set. Match #3 takes place Nov. 4, 2023 at Taylor Tennis Centre.
EVENTS: U14 competitive, U18 competitive and a recreational event (all ages)
KEY DATES:
Registration deadline Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 11:59pm CT
Withdrawal deadline: Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11:59pm CT
LOCATION: Taylor Tennis Centre (1500 Taylor Avenue)
TOURNAMENT TIME: First set of matches go on court at 6:00pm. Tournament will conclude by 9:00pm.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY: Players must be registered with a Tennis Manitoba junior membership.
ENTRY FEE: No entry fee will be charged for this tournament
ACCEPTANCE: Tournament entries will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Events will be capped as follows:
U14 Competitive- 8 entries
U18 Competitive- 8 entries
Recreational- 16 entries

DRAW FORMAT: Elimination draw format with first round loser consolation will be used.
Guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches per player.
MATCH FORMAT: Tournament will use a tie-break format. No sets, no games, only points will be played.
One tie-break game (10-point), winning a margin of 2 point will be played to decide the
winner of each match (15-15 next point wins). All matches will be full court with a
yellow ball.
RANKING POINTS: This tournament will not reward any Provincial/National ranking points.
PRIZES: All participants will get an Aritzia gift card.
RULES: All matches will be governed by Tennis Canada Rules of the Court. Players and parents
are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct as set out by Tennis Manitoba.
