The Steve Stevens Masters Tennis Championships took place in Montreal Aug. 20-26 and six players from Manitoba — Danielle Parent (pictured), John Stapleton, Geoff Kirbyson, Mark Lloyd, Tony Weekes, and Hiroko Nameishi — took part in the action.
Parent brought home a bronze medal in the women’s 60-plus division, while John Stapleton claimed silver in the 80-plus doubles event.
