Tennis Manitoba would like to congratulate and thank our great young athletes on representing our province at the Western Canada Summer Games in Swift Current, Saskatchewan!

With an overall 10-11 record, the Tennis Manitoba squad claimed the team bronze medal!

In female singles competition, Jeslyn Peng and Aurora Ling met in the bronze medal match with Jeslyn coming away with a 6-3, 6-4 victory.

In male singles, Stefan Barre made it all the way to the bronze medal match before falling to Alberta’s Kaetan Mehta 6-4, 6-4. Daksith Premathilaka finished in sixth.

In male doubles action, Jack Filuk-Scott and Kabeer Grewal won bronze. The pair defeated a team from Northwest Territories to claim the medal.

And last but definitely not least, Tennis Manitoba’s best result came in the mixed doubles event as Calli Aarrestad and Michael Hwang will be bringing home silver medals!
