Kevin Kylar picked up an ATP Point at the Canada F5 Futures in Saskatoon (July 4-10). In the opening round of the men’s singles main draw, Kylar beat Andrew Dottino of the United States 6-1, 6-0. Kylar, Manitoba’s top ranked player, lost in the second round to American Alexios Halebian 6-4, 6-1.

Shane Nicholls of Manitoba also competed in the tournament. After winning his first qualifying match, Nicholls fell 6-2, 6-1 to Dottino in the final round of qualifying. Nicholls got into the main draw as  a”lucky loser” and was beaten in the first round by Canada’s Alexis Galarneau 6-2, 6-2.
